Products that I use every day for travel and home. And they don't have to break the bank
People always assume editors live inside some velvet lined fantasy of obscure Parisian serums and artisanal mascara made from moon dust. I regret to inform you that my bathroom cabinet looks far more practical than poetic.
I am loyal to what works. I do not cheat on formulas. I do not experiment for sport. I have neither the time nor the face for that kind of chaos.
My complexion lives in Bare Minerals. Loose powders. Soft eye shadows. Their eyelid primer, because I refuse to live in a world where creased lids are still a thing. Clean finishes that do not announce themselves or settle into lines. It is makeup that behaves like skincare, which is all I ask of anything that sits on my face for twelve hours.
My eyes belong to Rimmel. Eyeliner that stays put. Mascara that does not betray me halfway through a day. Even the makeup remover is theirs, because I like my routines consistent and my life predictable.
My lips rotate between Burt’s Bees gloss and chapstick. One for function. One for comfort. Both for survival in dry airplane cabins and cold mountain towns.
My hair lives in Garnier. Specifically the apple shampoo and conditioner. I use them every day. They tolerate hard water, dry air, airport bathrooms and the general indignity of travel better than anything else I have tried.
My body routine is aggressively simple. Dove cucumber bar soap because it is clean, uncomplicated and never irritates my skin. Palmer’s Cocoa Butter because it doubles as lotion and scent and leaves behind the kind of warmth people remember when you walk past them.
None of this is sponsored. None of it is gifted. It is simply what I use to get through a life that includes global itineraries, late nights, early mornings, a child, a dog, a magazine and an uncooperative calendar.
The Earth & Flame is built around discernment. Around things that earn their place. Around products and experiences that do not need a megaphone.
If you are a brand that believes in that same quiet confidence, my inbox is open. I am not interested in trends. I am interested in longevity.

The Earth & Flame Magazine
Travelling with children doesn’t mean shrinking your experience. It just means choosing cities that refuse to split joy into age brackets.
These destinations make space for all of it. Lanterns and music. Festivals and family dinners. Culture without compromise.
For those navigating the world as single parents or entrepreneurial travellers, I’ve begun mapping itineraries, guides and curated lists that lean into calm, curated, luxury experiences. You can find them in the Shoppe or by following the link to the website.
