Going to small towns can be a bit daunting when you want more than just a decent experience. Coming to Cody, Wyoming has a lot of exciting things to see and do but where do you stay that offers both authenticity and the old west experience before heading to Yellowstone National Park and the Tetons?

My favourite things when visiting an old historic inn are the cosy rooms, the sloping upstairs ceilings and claw foot tubs that truly make you feel like a girl. And for me? The Chamberlin Inn is hands down my top pick for the area. Turn of the last century architecture. A conservatory with a warm warm fire and comfy leather sofas and chairs. And old school salons.
